Recap of the 2007-2008 school year! It was great!

It has been a wonderful year in first grade!  We have laughed, learned and even cried together this year.  I thank you for all the great memories.  Let’s travel back through the months together.

August/September- a new beginning get to know each one of our friends all over again.

October- we were off to the corn maze and enjoying the fall weather.

November- we were thanking God with the all school Feast Day!

December- we had the memorable “It all happened in the Country “ musical.  Ya all come back now Ya hear!

January- it was very, very cold!  Remember the days of inside recess!

February- the love is in the air for all of God’s people, helping the Dorothy Day with food and the Grace Lutheran Auction!  What a big giving time for all.

March-  Dr. Suess’ birthday and National Lutheran Schools Week!  What a blast!

April- we had the book fair, Donuts for Dads and collecting all those phones!  Wow! We started our Flat Stanley Projects!  Who knew we did so much in a year.

And May, the really big finish- Operation Band-Aid, Muffins for Moms, Pet Day, Construction Day, and the End-of-year picnic!  We were busy but it was a lot of fun!  Thanks for the memories!  Enjoy the summer and see you all in the fall.

Thanks!
