It has been a wonderful year in first grade! We have laughed, learned and even cried together this year. I thank you for all the great memories. Let’s travel back through the months together.
August/September- a new beginning get to know each one of our friends all over again.
October- we were off to the corn maze and enjoying the fall weather.
November- we were thanking God with the all school Feast Day!
December- we had the memorable “It all happened in the Country “ musical. Ya all come back now Ya hear!
January- it was very, very cold! Remember the days of inside recess!
February- the love is in the air for all of God’s people, helping the Dorothy Day with food and the Grace Lutheran Auction! What a big giving time for all.
March- Dr. Suess’ birthday and National Lutheran Schools Week! What a blast!
April- we had the book fair, Donuts for Dads and collecting all those phones! Wow! We started our Flat Stanley Projects! Who knew we did so much in a year.
And May, the really big finish- Operation Band-Aid, Muffins for Moms, Pet Day, Construction Day, and the End-of-year picnic! We were busy but it was a lot of fun! Thanks for the memories! Enjoy the summer and see you all in the fall.
